Finally through the doldrums of winter comes a ray of wine tinted light!

This weekend the Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is hosting the annual preview party for the newly released vintages on February 16 and 17th.

Open mostly to the wine industry (and those with industry friends) we will finally have the opportunity to get our hands and taste buds on the Vino Nobile 2011 and the Vino Nobile Riserva 2010 vintages, which the Consorzio is stating were awarded 4 out of 5.

It will be very interesting to taste the new releases and see what 2011 has resulted in, of course I am always a sucker for the Riservas.
